Penalty Warning: If you board at a valid station and alight at a station outside the coverage area, you must pay the additional fare to a station agent. Using the Climate Card in excluded areas is not permitted.

2. “Failure to Tag” Policy
Tagging your card when exiting (alighting) is mandatory for both subways and buses.
- Suspension: If you fail to tag off twice within a single 30-day usage period, your card will be suspended for 24 hours from the time of your last boarding.
- Reset: The count resets upon re-charging the card.
- Penalty for Out-of-Coverage Alighting: If you board at a valid station and alight in a restricted area, it counts as 1 “failure to tag” incident, and you must pay an additional fare on-site.
